About Penny Bryce
With a Bachelors degree in economics and psychology and an Honours degree in clinical psychology, Penny spent fourteen years in marketing and advertising positions with “Blue Chip” FMCG multinationals in various industries. In the second phase of her career, she became an accredited consultant, trained to deliver facilitation in change management, communication, career management, strategic planning and related management development processes.
In 1996 she began her career in NGO Marketing and fundraising, beginning as a consultant in major capital fundraising project management. She then joined The SA Academy of Family Practice as Marketing Manager and Fund Raising/ Project Manager for the Rural Health Initiative (RHI), a project designed to uplift health care delivery to rural communities and to support rural doctors and healthcare workers, particularly in response to the challenges posed by HIV/AIDS. She then joined World Vision South Africa, as Marketing and Communications Manager.
Penny has now embarked on a venture, with Nicki, to support NGO’s in the essential work that they do.
Her passion lies in uplifting people in need, especially children.
Her major strengths lie in marketing and communication, budget maximisation, proposal and report writing, hard working creative solutions, and fundraising.
About Nicki Wiggett
Nicki has worked in PR and Marketing since 1987. working for companies such as:
- Fashion Buyer for Woolworths
- SA Band Manager and PRO
- Club Tour Manger for Shaggy
- PRO to PJ Powers
- Seraph Entertainment Project & PR Director (Camel Pyramid of Light, Holiday on Ice and Moscow State Circus)
Within the Foschini Group she also held the following positions:

- Exact! Marketing Manager
- Foschini Brand Manager
- Foschini PR Manager
- Totalsports & sportscene Marketing Manager
In 2004, after 17 years in the Corporate World, Nicki left to start her own Promotions and Events company, Daisychain. During this time Nicki has helped NGO's with their projects, campaigns and fund raising events.
Nicki's passion is to help people learn to help themselves and thereby become more significant. With this driving her she joined up with Penny to start Cause & Affect - with the express desire to help NGO's make a difference.
